In my opinion, this Napoleon theme park is a very creative idea. This would attract both children and adults. According to the plan, the different rides/sections would be named after the important events from chronological order. This would show kids what happened during Napoleon's reign and it would make the kids be happy and excited while also learning important events. Once the kids get to interpret what happened, they would be more respectful to the past history. They can also experience the different life style in the olden days instead of reading boring books.

Napoleon Theme Park!
How might a history-themed park help people learn and/or appreciate history?

COURAGE!
Is courage something you have to be born with, or you can develop it?
Of course you can develop your courage. Not every people are born with bravery and confident. Some people are still timid and nervous while some are just very optimistic and not scared of anything. Sometimes, I think it also depends on the environment your in. People your with also matters. Like peer pressure, some of your friends want and support you to be fearless. Later on with your life, courage is something that will slowly expand without knowing. When you are courageous, you benefit your body, soul and mind greatly. Being courageous makes your whole life be different, where you could be brave enough to ask questions, present a presentation infront of everybody, etc. You can develop your courage by changing your style or your taste. Choose the things you are confident with. In other words, if you enjoy doing something, you should do it as efficiently as you can. Mastering new skills can also boost your courage. When you are better at something, you will be proud enough to express it out. Once you identify what's holding you back and making you nervous, move through it like a courageous warrior! Courage can always be changed!

Patriots VS Terrorists
Last class, we had a socratic seminar about the boston tea party. The colonists disguised as mohawk indians and went onto the ship to destroy the most valuable tea of the british. They wanted to protest although in the end, it didn't make the british change their mind. In my opinion, I think the suitable term to describe them would be "patriots" because the colonists were just fighting for their independence. They couldn't live with all the high tax anymore. They disliked that they needed to buy goods only from the mother country. This kind of protesting event is also similar to the news about the citizens complaining to Syria's President, Bashar al-Assad in 2011. Bashar al-Assad made cruel laws such as getting punishing/torture/kill if they go against the government. The Arabs couldn't agree with this harsh law and they wanted there independence so a huge amount of Arabs protested about this. Therefore, I think the colonists would be called patriots because they just wanted more rights and the boston tea party didn't effect a lot to the British. They love their country and they want to have freedom.

HI!~ :D
Hello guys! My name is Salisa and I'm learning in Ruamrudee International School (RIS) in Bangkok, Thailand and I'm in 8th grade. Art and music interests me. In school, I'm in band class playing the flute. I am very quiet in classes but I talk a lot with my friends. At this moment in Thailand, there's a huge flood going on and many places were destroyed and many people had to evacuate. This year's flood is the most crisis one in many years. The government made all the schools in Thailand close. My school closed for about a month! But now, our school has opened and we have to learn more from normally 7:10-2:40 now starting from 7:00-3:25. All of the traditional holidays are also school days. This is very shocking and tiring for us students. There are so much tests and quizes in a week! :( Because of the flood, all the plans and lessons made by the teachers are all mixed up. Field trips and other events in our school are also cancelled because WE HAVE TO LEARN! Anyway~ I am very excited to make new friends through quad blogging!! :)

Thai Innovation - Floating Toilets
This year's flooding is the most shocking in such many years. People are not prepared to fight with this yet and many of them are getting stressed out. People who come to help created many ideas in helping the victims and made their ideas useful and helpful. One of the innovations I liked is the floating toilets. I think that it is very very useful for people who couldn't use the bathrooms. If some people couldn't use bathrooms, they'll just need to hold on or use a plastic bag. In conclusion, I think that the idea of making floating toilets are very important for the people who are suffering.

Flooding in Thailand
Flooding in Thailand have been causing problems for us. Many people have been evacuated from the dangerous zones but some people still need some help. Thailand is not yet prepared for this sudden flood. I've seen the news and they said that 381 people died and 2 are missing. 63 cities in Thailand are affected and 37 cities are being helped. It also affects our economy because eggs, rice, etc are getting more expensive and companies cannot give out there products because of the flood. Due to flooding, all the schools are also closed and we've been getting a whole lot of online homework. Some of my friends and relatives are also affected by this. For me, I live in Perfect Place in Minburi and there is no flooding yet but for safety, my family moved up some furnitures upstairs and bought a lot of food just in case. I feel really bad for the people who are effected because some people are trapped in their house and some people don't have any food to eat. Many people who are effected decided to go to Pattaya and Huahin causing a lot of traffic near that road. My sister also went to the Red Cross to help package the food to donate for the victims. I hope that the flood will disappear sooner or later and for the people who are already flooded, don't give up! We are always here to support you and help you. :)
